July 2009 London. Bentley Green deliver a stunning new Ecommerce platform for internet-only start-up Blinds, Poles and Tracks - Direct! (BPT). The London based company specialises in high quality roman blinds, roller blinds, curtain poles, curtain tracks and accessories.
"A significant part of the challenge for Bentley Green consisted in managing all of the complexities of building an Ecommerce platform without impacting on the business-as-usual activities of the customer, who are busy setting up the infrastructure of their new company" said Dan McCarthy, Bentley Green MD. "It was important that we manage not only the web issues - design, usability, product and category structure, optimisation, security, payment systems and so on, but also automation of the supply line so that BPT can deliver seamless and industry beating customer service".
Ellen Lawlor, whose Customer Service remit at BPT involved working closely with Bentley Green, was enthusiastic about the partnership. "We carry a huge and growing range of products and intend to be the country's leading supplier of Sunflex, Swish, Sunlover, Harrison Drape and Universal window blinds, curtain poles, tracks and window dressing accessories" she said.
"It was important that the design of the site was fresh and clean to reflect the high quality of our products and services. But even more crucial was that Bentley Green should understand the products and their relationship to one another. They did all that and delivered the site on time and within budget, and we will continue to work with them on developing new online services for our customers".
