How to Use WebCEO
Build highly targeted Website traffic
- Find your niche and exploit it by understanding which keywords and phrases are most searched for by your target audience.
- Optimize your Web pages top amke sure that search engines understandthe focus of each page. This improves search results for the engines and for you.
- Submit your site to search engines and directories. Use this feature advisedly. Although WebCEO's automation is useful, you also need to manually find high page ranking directory (and other) links to your site, if you choose to use directories at all. WebCEO allows you to easily control which directories are automatically linked to.
- Manage pay-per-click campaigns from a single unified workspace. Bentley Green do not use this feature because we focus on organic search results. Download the free version of WebCEO and try the PPC feature if you think it's something you might find useful
Analyse Website traffic
- Track your positions in search engines. We like several aspects of this feature. First, WEbCEO greatly simplifies the way we track the increasing numbers of variations on how search engines deliver their results. Taking Google as an example (and the same is true for Yahoo and MSN / Live Search), we could track results at google.com, or results from google.co.uk for the whole web, or results from google.co.uk for the UK only. Each of these gives different results. Webceo allows us to see at a glance the differences and trends in these results. Another aspect we like is that we can easily see if placement in the search engines for specific keywords is going up or down, and by how many places.
- Good overall reporting on where your visitors are coming from. For more detailed reporting, we recommend supplementing WebCEO with Google Analytics, which is free.
